Controls

I would put this as a review on the App Store but the version of Q*Bert (the non-international one) I bought doesnt seem to be available anymore, at least in Canada.
The swipe controls are too imprecise. Controls are everything with iPhone games. Why not have an option to have a 4 button d-pad that you can easily tap with your thumb without accidentally tapping the wrong direction. Or even put one direction button in each corner of the screen. The more options, the better chances of finding the controls that work given the trickiness of controlling a game with no physical buttons.
Great classic game otherwise, glad I finally played it!

It sounds like maybe you purchased your version of Q*bert in the window of time when the domestic version was available worldwide by accident. It’s the same game available worldwide now, just with different names and different tracking. The international version has more languages as well. At this point though both versions are the same in terms of game play though.
Thanks for the feedback on the controls. We actually had an early version with a button in each corner of the screen. I think we should put that back in. I’m totally on board with adding the additional option for controls. Everyone’s different. We should try to provide the best range of options to satisfy the main types of players.
